Evo patch updated to Evo 2.2; debian packages built

A few days ago I updated the Evo patch to work with Evo 2.2. There was one small change required due to a change in the composer code.

I also built a debian package which is available in my repository. See the instructions for how to get it.

Thank you so very, very much! Right now I do not have that much time to thinker with this, so I just downloaded your evolution debian package, and it works just great. Finally, I can use vim in evolution again. You're the man. Hopefully this goes into mainstream evolution!

What's about evolution 2.3.x? I would be happy to see this patch working with it and I want to include it in BreakMyGentoo (http://www.breakmygentoo.net)

Sorry, I won't update the patch for Evo 2.3.x until it's available in Debian (that means not until Evo 2.4 is actually released). It's just too much work for me to build and test otherwise.

If you are able to update the patch yourself, though, I'd be happy to post it here for others to use.

# apt-get install Die folgenden Pakete haben nichterfüllte Abhängigkeiten: evolution: Hängt ab: evolution-data-server1.2 (>= 1.2.2) ist aber nicht installierbar E: Kaputte Pakete But i have eds 1.2.3-2 installed. Evolution is version 2.2.3-4. I have a mixed testing/unstable system. I'm very happy that you keep on your work. I've looked at it some time ago but didnt get it installed. The nonplusultra for me would be to integrate vim with the IDE Eclipse. Do you think this could ever be possible? regards, Sebastian.

Hi! What is the status of Evolution patch, ie. any chance to get into the main trunk? ot: any chance to get patch for Anjuta (while missing vim in Anjuta, I'm leaning towards Pida - http://pida.berlios.de)? Sincerely,[[BR]] Gour
